Our aim is to educate and support our clients to understand how their bodies move, this in turn helps them to move better and feel better. We are big believers that exercise should be focused but also fun.
Joseph Pilates said "Change happens through movement and movement heals" we are strong advocates of this philosophy.
The foundation of our studio is movement. By integrating body, breath, and awareness of movement we help to focus on personal health and wellbeing.

If you would like to discuss exercising prehab, during treatment or post treatment for Cancer please contact our team for a one to one consultation. We have Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation Instructors that can help and support your exercise programme.
Pink Ribbon Program for Breast Cancer
This is a specific exercise program for women wishing to exercise prehabilitation, during treatment and post treatment, our Pink Ribbon instructors are trained in working with a range of reconstructions and breast cancers and can help support your exercise programme. Your Wellness Professionals
This is a fitness class where you can bring your little ones along, a place where if you turn up with your gym gear inside out and baby food on your top it’s the norm. It’s a place where you can meet other parents for a workout and some adult conversation. It’s a place where everyone is welcome.
We aspire to work with all ages ranges from children to 90 plus, encouraging everyone to make exercise part of their weekly schedule, to improve their fitness and to help their bodies stay strong and healthy.
We thrive in seeing families and generations exercising together and above all having fun.
Our experienced and wonderful team of instructors run regular classes throughout the week to meet a full range of client needs and levels of fitness.
You will notice our timetable is colour coded, this is to help you find the right classes for you, however you may find it really beneficial to try lots of different classes, don’t be put off by the name of the class or the colour, you may surprise yourself and enjoy a class you didn’t think you would.
If you are unsure you can contact a member of our team and they will be able to advise you on the best classes for you.
Please don’t be offended if they say that the class may not be suitable we just want to make sure we look after you in the best way possible.
At Green Pilates Movement Studio, we are focused on helping you move better and feel better.
If you have any injuries including dodgy hips, knees or shoulders, Lower back pain or any other health related conditions we suggest that you book a one to one assessment before beginning the classes.
The One to one assessment includes a postural assessment, suitable range of movement assessments and other assessments that the instructor feels will give you the best experience.
On completion of the One to One assessment the instructor can help you choose the most suitable classes and/or recommend a suitable Fundamentals workshop.
A One to One assessment Cost £45.00 and will generally last 1 1/2 hours.

We also offer a range of Fundamental workshops, these are useful for those new to Pilates, and even for those who have been doing Pilates for years, they help you to focus on specific principles of the Pilates method.

We do have access to parking outside the studio, please make sure you park within the fenced area to avoid getting a ticket. Parking spaces in the main council car park that do not have a number in them are free for up to 2 hours.
If you park within the Legend's car park we ask that you display a Green Pilates Parking card, this can be obtained from our reception area.
Parking in the main council car park is free after 6pm Monday to Saturday and free all day on Sundays.
Further parking is also available at Tesco, Station Car Park and Manor Street Car Park.
Please also be aware that the Legends club may have deliveries on a Thursday.
