ASSESSMENTS AND WORKSHOPS

To help you gain the most from your classes we offer a range of assessments and workshops.

Assessments - these are useful to help you understand how your body moves, areas of strengths and weakness, postural alignment and movement patterns.  

Workshops - these run regularly throughout the month and are designed to help give you all the tools and ideas you need to improve performance, movement and understanding of the Pilates technique.

PILATES MATWORK FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

This workshop is designed to take you through the basic fundamentals of Pilates.  It covers breathing, correct alignment, Powerhouse Activiation and positioning. It is done in small groups and you will have a take home booklet to help you keep working on the fundamentals.  
This workshop is ideal for clients new to Pilates or even those who have been attending classes for a while, and you can repeat it as many times as you want, you will always learn something new.

CHAIR PILATES FUNDAMENTAL WORKSHOPS

This workshop is designed to take you through the basic fundamentals of Pilates in the chair.  It covers breathing, correct alignment, Powerhouse Activiation and positioning. It is done in small groups and you will have a take home booklet to help you keep working on the fundamentals.  
This workshop is ideal for clients new to Chair Pilates or even those who have been attending classes for a while, and you can repeat it as many times as you want, you will always learn something new.

Fitness Class

ASSESSMENTS

We run a range of assessments depending on your needs and goals. These range from:
A Postural Assessment which looks at your static posture and your posture during movement.
A Movement Assessment which looks at your movement Patterns.
A Functional Assessment which looks at your functional strength, mobility, agility, balance and coordination
A ready to go Assessment this looks at your readiness to begin an exercise programme, this is most suited to Exercise Referral and rehabilitation clients

PILATES WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS

Look at for our regularly workshops and seminars, this will range from "understanding Fascia", "don't ignore your pelvic floor", "feet", "the shoulder girdle" as well as some external workshops such as healthy eating, first aid and any other workshops that will think you will find interesting and educational
