Founder and all round Teacher
Hi I am Yolande the owner of Green Pilates Movement Studio, I have been instructing in the fitness industry for over 30 years. I am qualified in many group exercise formats, as well as Pilates, GP referral, Exercise referral, Lower Back pain, Cancer Rehabilitation and special populations such as pre and post natal and older adults.
Pilates and Aerobics Teacher
Karen was a fitness enthusiast who loved Running , strength training and high intensity cardio through exercising until she damaged her spine , she was advised to rehabilitate by taking up Pilates and could not believe the results she achieved by performing low impact, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility exercises.
Karen developed a huge passion for Pilates and after having children decided on a different career path which she felt was more rewarding, she trained as a level 3 Pilates Mat Instructor to help others achieve the health benefits that Pilates has to offer.
I have been a meditation teacher for over 5 years now! I started for my own mental health and saw results in how it improved my anxiety that I wanted to teach it to others to help them.
I did a 6 week mindfulness course for my own practice then another 6 weeks to teach others followed by a week course for children mindfulness. In my class I use doTERRA essential oils as I find they help to deepen my practice. I start off with some breath work to settle ourselves down, then a guided meditation, ending with a lovely body scan and sound healing meditation. Everyone leaves the class feeling totally relaxed! I recently just completed my gong training and am looking forward to doing some sound healing workshops soon!
Pilates, Barre and all round Teacher
I trained as a dancer from an early age and worked professionally as a singer and dancer for many years. I trained to teach dance in 2012 and started working as a dance teacher in 2013. In 2015 I trained to teach Barre Fitness after attending classes. I fell in love with teaching fitness and the style of exercise had greatly improved a chronic lower back problem I’d had since I was a teenager. I decided to enhance my training with a Mat Pilates course, which I completed in 2019 with YMCA. The Pilates knowledge has helped me develop my Barre classes and I now enjoy teaching various styles of dance; Pilates; and Barre.
Yoga has been my passion for most of my adult life. Having worked in business, then as a school teacher for many years I decided to pursue my dream as a yoga teacher. This as one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I have enjoyed developing my yoga practice over the years so that I am able to offer different styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga, as well as Meditation and breathing techniques. It is a pleasure to share my love of yoga with my students in every class. Namaste

Head of admin and marketing
Hi I am Mollie, I help organise all the social media for the company as well as working on reception from time to time when I'm back from university. I am currently studying BSc Politics and International Relations at LSE and loving every moment.
I also really enjoy pilates at the studio as well as meeting all the lovely clients when I'm working on reception.
